Improve your Brand in Just 10 Minutes a Day

So, you only have 10 minutes?

Here are 10 things from the Be Seen Merch team that you can do in 10 minutes to improve your brand. Do one of them a day everyday for 10 days, and see how you build momentum in your marketing!

  1. Update Your Social Media Bios: When was the last time you checked whether this still reflected your current services, vision and direction? Often a business will write their bios when they’re just starting out and getting things going, then the weeks and years pass by and they collect dust. Refresh your social media profiles with current, engaging bios that clearly communicate your brand’s mission, values, and services. Include relevant keywords and a call to action.

  2. Create a Consistent Brand Aesthetic: Does your social media and website visuals align? Is it distinctively you and on brand? Consistency across all your touch points will help reinforce brand recognition. Brand recognition reinforces trust. Trust reinforces good business.

  3. Engage with Your Audience: Spend 10 minutes replying to comments, messages, or reviews on social media or other platforms. Check in across your channels on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and anywhere else you’re present. Engaging with your audience builds trust and fosters a sense of community. It’s better to do a couple of platforms well, than have them all but never interact with your community.

  4. Optimise Your Website’s SEO: Head to the backend of your website and/or log in to your Google Analytics. Get a cuppa and look at the data. Focus in on your meta titles, descriptions, and headings. Ensure they are optimised for relevant keywords that reflect your brand and improve search engine visibility.

  5. Post Valuable Content: Share a quick, value-driven post on social media. This could be a helpful tip, a behind-the-scenes look at your business, or a customer testimonial. Quality content helps establish authority and trust. The algorithms love raw and organic content. Show up, be real, and post about what you’re up to today. You’re half way there.

  6. Refresh Your Email Signature: Update your email signature. This is a big one! Let’s face it, most of our communication is happening via email, so they’re getting a good look at your brand in every e-correspondence. Do a quick audit, does it include your latest branding elements, such as your logo, tagline, and links to your social media profiles or website. Quick review and tidy up and you can tick off day 6!

  7. Analyse Competitor Activity: Take a few minutes to look at what your competitors are doing on social media or their websites. Identify one thing you could do better or differently to stand out. Reflect, implement, repeat.

  8. Review Customer Feedback: Quickly scan recent reviews or feedback from customers to identify any recurring themes or areas for improvement. Use this insight to make quick adjustments to your brand strategy. And if it’s good, repeat day 5 and post about it!

  9. Add a new page to your website: Search engines love a ‘fat’ website. If you were to add a new webpage to your website right now, what would it say? How could you bring additional value to your community? What keywords could you use to optimise SEO on this new page? Plan it out. You might not be able to build it in 10 minutes, but you can certainly start to plan and think bigger.

  10. Submit an enquiry for new merch: You could smash this one out in 3 minutes and be ahead of schedule! It’s okay to not know what you’re looking for. Get in touch with us, we can soundboard some options and get you ready for making more memorable moments and experiences with your audience. Merch fosters memorable experiences and gives you walking billboards wherever your community go. Make it good quality merch and they’ll be stoked to show their friends, because let’s face it, they want a good story to tell and you just gave them amazing value for free. Win, Win.

By spending just 10 minutes on each of these tasks, you can make meaningful improvements to your brand that enhance its visibility, consistency, and engagement. Time to implement, because implementation is everything. You’ve got this!!
